Leading into a holiday break can be a time of isolation for children in rural communities. Even more noticeable since our students have undergone physical distancing during a drought. It was an appropriate time to boost the morale of the students and give back to the students and parents for their perseverance.
Parents tailored the care packages [Empower Packs] with respect to each year group. Staff arranged kitchen utensils for parents and filing cabinets for students learning by distance education.
Being able to provide each student with everyday items, as well as the brainstorming ideas with parents, made the process that much more special and brought the school community together.
Thank you Good360 and all donors on behalf of our community; we are very grateful for your generosity.
