The perfect icebreaker

HPMM works in close partnership with approximately 20 local community organisations by providing onsite childcare. By removing the barrier of childcare parents/carers are able to participate in the wonderful programs these organisations offer and their children are able to reap the benefits of our early childhood education service.

We originally ordered the LEGO for a LEGO program we support but we found it also served another purpose!

HPMM has a particularly close partnership with a family support service and the mangers of both services often meet. Almost every time they meet they see a single mother, who lives a few doors up from the service, walking past. Today they decided to introduce themselves, tell her she is doing a great job raising her children and spoil her with sheets, LEGO and toiletries. She thought it was Christmas and cried while telling the managers how grateful she is and how sometimes she feels like she isn’t coping.

This little act of kindness, thanks to Good360, was the perfect icebreaker and the beginning of what is sure to be a fruitful relationship between her and the family support service.
