Warming up Crossenvale

Our community house provided much-needed clothing to over 170 public housing families, individuals in the Crossenvale area of Echuca. The items given to residents were clothing, footwear, socks, underwear items, hygiene items, jackets, and Christmas decorations. We set up our house as a clothing hub for residents to browse through the items and take a bag of clothing per person. All participants who access the clothing relief were Health Care cardholders, seniors, families living in public housing property and we provided clothing to young people living in supported accommodation.

The items from BIG W have assisted many families and residents in need of warm clothing in these cold winter days and nights, we have had great feedback and people very appreciative of the clothing and project that we have now at our community house. We will continue to open the doors to people in the area to come to collect items on a weekly bases.
