Living with Cystic Fibrosis is physically, financially and emotionally draining - not only on the person with CF but their loved ones. Regular hospital stays are common and some people with CF can be hospitalised up to 6 times a year or more.
For children especially, this gets boring. One of our members, young Oliver (just 3 1/2) had his first stay earlier this year. It was a big deal for everyone in his family, but particularly for him. He was pretty excited by his Little Pet, spotty dalmatian and other items we had previously got from Good 360 and played with them for his whole stay. We are told he is still firm friends with the spotty Dalmation. This is just one example of a child who benefited from the goodie bags we made up. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. We so appreciate this as a small charity.
