Total makeover of confidence

First Impressions Clothing Exchange is part of Cire Services, one of the largest NFPs in the Yarra Ranges and unique to the region. Operated by long-term unemployed women for financially disadvantaged women, it provides affordable, quality clothing for job interviews and other important occasions. Equally significant is that it helps participants upskill in a realistic work environment, boosts their confidence, self-esteem and dignity, and provides access to further training, mentoring and invaluable support networks.

Long-term unemployed women involved in the First Impressions Clothing Exchange project in the Yarra Ranges are having a ‘million dollar makeover’ in their quest for paid work thanks to Good360.

They have been overawed by the generosity of brands such as L’Oréal which have helped send their confidence and self-esteem skyrocketing.

Women who have received the L’Oreal bags have been deeply touched by the unexpected gesture and the kindness and generosity of receiving such a gift:

"Thank you, very generous and kind. This will help me feel confident and well presented in future endeavours. Gorgeous pack!" - Jacqui

"The pack is a huge boost to my confidence in moving forward with job hunting. It takes away the added pressure of trying to pick suitable makeup items." - Laura

"Makeup is definitely a confidence booster so the packs are a great way to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone." - Sabrina
