Hair Accessories Boost Confidence

After the COVID lockdown, high schools across Australia reported a higher number of students disengaging from school and experiencing both anxiety and depression. They felt overwhelmed in the school environment and this had a huge impact both on the young people and their parents who struggled to find solutions or assistance.
BCR Communities responded to this crisis with the Curious & Creative Program, a school re-engagement and pathways program developed and coordinated in partnership with Firefly Uniting and Vincentia High School.
The program was created specifically for students in years 7 to 10 who were finding it challenging to get back into school life.
A donation of hair accessories from Good360 was used in styling sessions so the students could make a great impression when going for a job interview.
The hair accessories, including bows, headbands, and clips, provided a polished and put-together look for the girls, boosting their self-confidence when they went for their first job interviews.
The hair accessories left over will be given to students from Vincentia High and Sanctuary Point Primary School for their end-of-year school formals. A definite bonus when so many families are struggling with the cost of living. Thank you Good360
