Lego Blocks to Build Community

Strong Children Stronger Communities was born from seeing a need for rural/remote/isolated communities to have the same access to programs that bigger towns and cities have, to foster connection, educational opportunities, peer to peer relationships in a set geographical area and to occupy young people.

The young people of Cygnet were thrilled to attend their first ever local LEGO club that offered ease of access and a chance to mix with other local kids.

Anna, a Mum who was present said "It’s great to have LEGO more accessible for families at the same time as building community engagement and having the venue close to home makes it easier for single car families.”

Lani, who is five, said to us "I like being here because my friends can come and I like building things,” while one of our 10 year old participants Ashton said "this place is so good because it’s close to my home and I get to play with things I haven’t played with before and learn new stuff."

Thank you Good360 and LEGO for being build community for our young people one LEGO block at a time.
