Building a better Christmas with LEGO

Every Christmas, AnglicareSA Emergency Assistance centres stock hampers of Christmas items for customers of our services. This also includes a Toy Drive for the children of these customers, where we collect donations of new toys from the community to give children the Christmas magic they’re hoping for.
Often our Emergency Assistance teams need to top up the donations with the purchase of toys and have been left to pay full retail price for sets of Duplo or LEGO to complete a toy hamper.
With the purchase of four LEGO pallets at a heavily discounted price through Good360, our Emergency Assistance teams were able to ensure their toy hampers were fully stocked for children of all age ranges without surpassing their budget. We were also able to combine forces with our corporate volunteers at Beyond Bank to help distribute the LEGO into age-appropriate toy packs.
The strength of the brand LEGO ensures these children are excited and confident in the gift they’re receiving, and we know it creates years of joy and play in their homes.
