Hygiene for vulnerable community members

As the impact of the cost of living crisis continues to be felt, Torquay Community House has seen an increase in community members visiting us seeking support and referrals for food aid and crisis housing support. Our role is to provide a safe space to connect those vulnerable community members with local services, but it was important for us to be able to have something tangible that they could leave with not just phone numbers. These hygiene kits gave us a simple way to support community members doing it tough. Our volunteers have handed the kits out to community members as needed.
