Darkinjung Christmas Event

Darkinjung LALC is a statutory body corporate constituted under the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (ALRA). Key goals of our community are to maintain, strengthen, and celebrate Aboriginal values, our culture, and our heritage, to enhance the social wellbeing and participation of our community.
Christmas can be a daunting time for some families, with the worry and struggle of not being able to afford small luxuries such as gifts and events for their children while managing home bills and expenses in this current cost of living crisis. With the help of Good360, Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council held a community Christmas event for DLALC members, consisting of mini-games, food, and a movie screening for the kids! Items received from Good360 such as LEGO and Boogie boards were wrapped, and children were gifted presents from Santa!
Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Lands Council thanks Good360 for helping our community stay connected and foster a sense of belonging for the families and their children!
Alongside this event, with the help of Good360 Darkinjung LALC was able to supply personal care products to The Glen for Women.
The Glen Group operates residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres on the Central Coast of NSW – The Glen for Men at Chittaway Point (est. 1994) and The Glen for Women at Wyong Creek (est. 2022).
