LEGO - Creating a culture of collaboration and curiosity at Poonindie

At Pooninde Community Learning Centre, we have implemented LEGO to help our students improve their turn-taking, curiosity, and collaboration skills. During recess, we have designated our Library as a play area where our students, regardless of age to work together.
Using LEGO has made a significant difference to our school community, and we highly appreciate it. Besides the play area, we also use LEGO in our classrooms to help our students regulate when they are distressed, providing them with an opportunity to calm down and destress. As a result, our students remain busy, engaged, and happy. This has brought moments of pure joy for some students who find it challenging to have free play in the schoolyard.
We are very grateful to Good360 and its donor partner, LEGO, for making these products available to our school. They have made a massive difference to our school community and are very much loved.
