Helping people and their Pets

Each year, AnglicareSA's Emergency Assistance program helps thousands of people with access to food support, medication and blankets. With the current cost of living crisis, many people have told us how much they struggle to feed themselves, let alone their pets. Receiving a pallet of Fancy Feast kitten food allowed us to help Joanna, a single mum of 2 who had come across a stray cat who had decided to move in. Joanna had a huge surprise when she found out that her stray cat, was about to be a mama cat! She had 4 healthy kittens, which didn't impact the budget initially, but started to pinch once the babies started to eat solid food. We were able to help Joanna and the kittens with enough food to get them through, hopefully until they are old enough to be adopted by new families.
