Suncreen for volunteers and walking group

We received our shipment of sunscreen today just in time to give to our walking group members to use on their weekly walk. The group members have not been able to attend walking group recently due to COVID-19 lockdown and were very grateful to receive the sunscreen they can use on their walks. We also distributed the sunscreen to our volunteers, in particular, the gardening volunteers. They have also only recently come back to the centre due to the lockdowns and were very grateful to receive the sunscreen to keep them protected from the suns rays.

Everyone had been feeling a bit down in the dumps due to not being able to see friends and family and the gift made them feel welcome and happy to be back in the community again. One person said, "that was just what I needed, as I haven't been out much I completely forgot about wearing sun protection, this has made it much easier".

Having separate sunscreen to use also made it much safer as they did not need to share from the larger container. Big thanks to the Good360 for this very practical donation, it was really just what we needed!
