The COVID-19 Pandemic Support

The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted Victorians, causing ongoing health, social and economic effects that many have never before experienced. SomAus Help have to support families in Melbourne’s inner north-east who are experiencing hardship during the pandemic.

Families from west African communities in Heidelberg West, Reservoir and Preston were the recipients of personal care products and household goods that were donated by Good360 and distributed by SomAus Help. These families have directly experienced the negative impacts of the pandemic, through infection with COVID-19 or reduced household income due to job loss or inability to work. The products were gratefully received and put to good use by the recipients.
