Sleeping rough made a little easier this summer

The Townsville Drop-In Centre is a day hub for people who are homeless, vulnerable and at risk of homelessness or are socially isolated to come and meet with others and be supported and valued as members of our community.

The centre provides a free breakfast daily which consists of toast, spreads and cereal and at lunchtime, a hot meal is provided for a gold coin donation.
The Centre has free washing machines with free laundry detergent, showers with soap provided onsite; toilets and an internet café plus daily visits from other services providers.
Our staff at the Townsville Drop-In Centre believe that everyone should be treated with respect regardless of their situation and staff are happy to assist the community.
The outdoors are infested with mosquitoes which is the norm living in Northern Queensland. The generous donation of Mosquito Repellent Coils makes a vastly improved environment for those wishing to take in the fresh air around the centre and enjoy the beauty of the park. And the product is particularly helpful to our community of rough sleepers. Thanks to Good360 and Bunnings for your ongoing support and generosity.
