From the City to the Central Desert

At the beginning of this year, ACS sent up multiple boxes of Donations to the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, in particular Pipalyatjara (Kalka), where beautiful Men's, Women's and Children's Clothes were donated to the local Aboriginal Community.

To reach the Community Townships in the North West corner of South Australia, it's a 20-hour drive from Adelaide or 33 Hours from Sydney via unsealed roads. Donations such as these mean the world to the remote community with minimal access to any retail stores or regular mail drops.

As an area known for its Chrysoprase Gem Stone mining, everyone loved the vibrant colours and soft Fabrics of the Clothes, and at the end of the day, there was nothing left; all of the items went to good homes.

Thank you to Good360 and Best & Less for all the brightly coloured Donations and ACS to put on an excellent day and make many people very happy.
