Hawkesbury Flood Relief 2021

Peppercorn Children and Families became the Government Recovery Centre for the Hawkesbury Floods. We had an average of 20 to 30 people per day visiting the centre at the start and numbers slowly declined over the 2 months it was opened.

Good360 came to the rescue for essential items to support the community members entering the centre. Most of these people managed to save just a small number of items from their homes. The flood relief products brought humanity back into the lives of this community.

The centre's motto was that nobody was to leave the centre empty-handed, whether it was gift vouchers for services, cleaning products, household essentials and especially linen to keep warm and comfortable.

We would love to thank all that were involved in this amazing support service. The Hawkesbury community will never forget the services that were there to help. It is etched in history now.

Thank you Good360, Big W and Nans Tarps for your kindness and generosity.
