Keeping connected

John* is homeless. He was unable to connect with his housing worker as he had no phone so kept missing their calls and was slipping through the cracks. He came to Lutheran Care's Barossa office seeking emergency food relief and we heard his story we were able to put an Optus Sim loaded with data and phone credit into a donated mobile phone. Thanks to Optus and Good360 within minutes he had an active mobile and we could link him in with housing support.

About Our Charity

Lutheran Care provides emergency relief to people in the inner north of Adelaide and in the Barossa/Lower Mid North regions including an annual Christmas hamper program. We also offer financial counselling and advocacy to clients in financial hardship
