Proud of contribution to type 1 diabetes research

This is Hunter. Hunter has been a participant in the ENDIA Study since he was a baby. His family were invited as his mother was pregnant and someone in the family had type 1 diabetes. The aim of the study is to find the causes of type 1 diabetes in children.
To answer this question, we have held study visits with children and their caregivers every 3-6 months to ask questions, take measurements and collect biological samples. The blood test is the least favorite for our little participants... but it's made so much better when we say "thank you for your contribution" with a box of LEGO!
The LEGO is an appreciated acknowledgment of the angst and discomfort ENDIA study visits can bring to some children. Luckily we have kind and skilled staff who also make our research a positive experience.
Thank you for your support Good360 and LEGO Australia
