Festive Fair! Free presents for all!

The Nambour Community Centre celebrated all things festive in December 2022. Over 200 people came along to celebrate what was a tough year for the Nambour community. We saw a large increase in families experiencing hardship especially close to Christmas. We had a market stall, "NCC Money" which children could use to purchase small gifts for their family, play games and eat ice cream! We turned one of our office spaces into a "Santa's Workshop" and children received a gift certificate to exchange for a gift, which was beautifully wrapped! It was such a fun-filled afternoon and many families walked away with gifts and smile on their faces. Toys were also given away as lucky door prizes, with one parent winning an amazing prize pack for his children's Christmas, who was doing it tough and would now have Christmas together. I don't think there was a dry eye in the whole Centre!
