Turning houses into homes

CareSouth would like to give a big-hearted thank you to Harvey Norman for donating more than $60,000 worth of furniture to our programs.
The quality furniture, which included dining tables, chairs, and lounges, was used to furnish our therapeutic homes for young people in Goulburn and Queanbeyan, and our homeless youth service in Nowra.
A large wooden dining table, chairs, and ottoman went to Queanbeyan where CareSouth has set up a new home for a large sibling group. The five children, aged 4-12 years, were unable to be placed together in a foster care home. Instead, they have a purpose-built home to call their own, with staff (house parents) to take care of them 24/7. They love the dining table and said it makes them feel like royalty! They love being able to eat together each night.
A local furniture removal company agreed to transport all of the items for us free of charge. We are so very grateful for the generosity offered by them.
Thank you Good360 and Harvey Norman. This donation has turned houses into much-loved homes, and we couldn't have done it without you.
