A Good Hair Day!

There are many families at our school who are financially struggling. We have families who have no permanent home and are living in motels or couch surfing. We have some families who are struggling to pay to mortgage or rent each week.
The hair care items from Good360 went to some of the students in our school community who do not have access to these things at home. Brushing hair and providing hair ties to students is a service at the school's front office provided to some students. We have kept a brush and set of hair ties in the front office for students who come to school and need access to them. Providing students with these items to use at home, reduces the stigma that the students face when coming to ask for a hairbrush or someone to do their hair. We also have a community center next door that supports local families in need. We gave them baby headbands and hair products for them to pass on to their families in need.
