The nonfiction books in this delivery from Good360 and BOOKTOPIA were a great addition to our collection, whilst there were a few novels that weren’t exactly appropriate to our student population and couldn’t be used in our library, we have been able to offer them to our wider school community, supporting Teachers with additional resources and adding a selection to our Parent Pantry. This has created a wonderful opportunity to connect and engage with our families in an informal fun environment.
As a High School, our library focuses its spending on teenage-appropriate literature, but being able to update our small supply of children’s books with this additional offer from BOOKTOPIA has provided our students with new opportunities to borrow books for siblings.
With the introduction of Year 7s to our site, it has also been beneficial to have a wider range of books for our students to access for their reading pleasure.
This supply of children’s books has also improved learning/teaching opportunities with students being able to review a wider range of illustrations and text as part of our English and Arts curriculum. Thank you Good360 and BOOKTOPIA
