Boogie Boards for Students

Huntfield Heights School P – 6 was lucky enough to receive a pallet of 44-inch Boogie boards for all of our year 6 students. This term our year 6 students attended aquatics to learn about water safety. They participated in lots of learning about how to be safe at the beach, in and out of the water. One of the highlights for the students was learning how to boogie board with qualified instructors. At the completion of this unit, we were able to give each of our students a free boogie board. This was fantastic, as it greatly supports our students in consolidating the skills that they have learned at aquatics week. This wonderful donation has given families something fun and free to go and do in the holidays. This with the addition of students being able to share the use of these boards with their siblings. Our community is extremely appreciative of this generosity and was very excited with the news of receiving this item.
