Reading broadens young minds

With over 830 students attending Port Lincoln High School, we have a lot of hungry minds looking for new items to consume. The Year 7 and 8 classes are working their way through our small school library, and now have access to content they would not have considered reading before! It has been so exciting watching students devour fiction and non-fiction books, and discover a new genre to love, or a subject to learn more about. Students have been rating their books and putting their descriptions up on the class door for all students to see and the kids have been swapping books and describing their books to each other.
These books have been great and the students and the wider community will enjoy them, and their content, for a long time to come. We look forward to sharing even more in the future!
