Stepping out in style!

Murray Bridge North School was fortunate to receive a substantial delivery of NIKE children's sandals. Many of our families are under financial stress with a lack of employment and rising costs of living meaning that any luxuries are out of reach. Those families who qualified for school cards and had children who had feet small enough to fit the shoes were invited to come in and choose a pair of shoes for all their children, whether they were school-age or not. Our Junior Primary Special Options class all received shoes to wear at school which they were ecstatic about.
In the picture is little Riley who was so very excited to get some new shoes and prove to us how fast she could run in them! Our very small shoes were donated to the nearby kindy so that they could be used by their families.
