Building Happy

During 2022 and 2023 our school community was greatly affected by the flooding of the Murray River. Both staff and students were emotionally affected, and it was necessary to rebuild our mental health.

Receiving and using LEGO in our school has impacted both students and staff by reconnecting, building friendships and building our resilience.

With the regular use of LEGO, this supports our students to communicate, share ideas and resolve conflicts. Teaching them to develop problem solving skills and develop fine motor skills, gives them the opportunity for role play, imagination, and experimentation.

LEGO is teaching our students to be respectful and responsible towards their peers. It's a useful strategy for our students to relax, unwind and regulate their emotions during difficult and stressful times.

After receiving the LEGO from Good360, it has made learning fun and enjoyable and has been very welcomed by everyone at Blanchetown Primary School. Thank you so much.
