Something special for research participants and their mums

Here are Lorraine and Marci from country, South Australia. They're a great family who always contacts our ENDIA study team when they're coming to Adelaide to organise a study visit. Each visit involves a blood test, and collection of other samples like swabs, urine and stool.
To say thank you to our little participants for their blood test and all their other samples, we like to say thank you with some well-deserved LEGO However, their caregivers (most of whom live with type 1 diabetes) who take time out of their days every 6 months to drive to our clinics, support their children through the testing, and complete many surveys, just get a "thanks for coming".
So we were delighted to be able to give this mum, who has been through a lot health-wise recently, a hand cream to acknowledge her contributions to the study as well as her daughter’s (who loved the LEGO ????).
Thanks so much to Good360 and Jurlique for this much-appreciated donation to the special mums participating in our research into the causes of type 1 diabetes in Australian children. Unfortunately, we could only order enough to provide one hand cream to around a quarter of our ENDIA mums. Thus we keep them especially for mums having a tricky time in their lives, have a long distance to drive, or are in need of a little boost.
If you ever consider donating more, we would be so grateful to be able to give them to the rest of our participating parents. These mums now feel even more appreciated. Thank you.
