Dignity for Women and Girls

These beauty and hygiene sets are extremely important for providing dignity to girls and women experiencing domestic violence. Port Stephens Family and Neighborhood Services gave these two sets out to a family, a mother and her daughter who had recently fled domestic violence. When they fled, they were unable to take many items with them. Items like toiletries and clothing, and currently have very little. Leaving domestic violence has added significant financial stress. Therefore, purchasing beauty items is a luxury they cannot afford. When Sarah handed these items to this family, they were relieved to receive toiletries item they wouldn't be able to access without support. The beauty and hygiene sets have been used by our services to provide dignity to women and girls experiencing domestic violence.
