Getting back on track with play and learning

Students have been able to read and learn about a variety of historic figures and the impact they had on their country thanks to our recent Good360 donation. The books we received from Blake Education are engaging through factual information without being too long making them enticing for our students to sit and share with each other.

We were also able to order a number of hats in our school's bottle green colour. Our school's sun safe policy encourages all students to wear a hat when playing outside. These hats have been given to students to Kindergarten students whose families may be struggling financially. Other hats have been kept as spares in case students forget or lose their hat. This way friendships can still stay strong in the playground rather than leaving one child unable to play due to not having a hat.

Due to the Pandemic, the teachers have had to modify their student's programs a little since being back at school in term 3. It is only now that the teachers are finding the students are back on track and can engage in the fabulous STEM kit resources we received. More classes will be learning from these kits throughout this school term.
