Christmas Through A Child's Eyes

We were able to access a wonderful donation of LEGO products from Good360 for our clients who otherwise wouldn’t have had any presents to give to their children this Christmas season.

We had a client who recently had to flee her home due to domestic and family violence and she wasn’t able to take anything except a backpack of clothes for the three of them. She and her children had recently put up their Christmas tree and the children had been so thrilled to do this with the excited expectation of Santa’s arrival with gifts. Unfortunately, these two precious small children were unaware of how bleak Christmas was now looking as they were unable to return to the family home due to a high safety risk.

Fortunately, though with such a wonderful donation of LEGO from Good360, we were able to give these children gifts to open on Christmas Day. This will help to make the children not feel forgotten and that Santa could still find them even though they weren’t at home. The relief the Mum felt in being able to provide for her children was immeasurable and the stress of it just fell away. The Mum was able to concentrate on other things such as making a safe and stable home for her and her children.

Thank you so much to LEGO and Vimwood, for making these donations to Good360 and a shoutout to Good360 for arranging these critical donations with services such as ours. We could not do what do without the support of the local community.
