Clinical Bag Donation

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, everyone was affected in one way or another. The healthcare staff are very grateful to have Good360 to support Westmead Hospital every step of the way.
With a new and unknown virus, new protocols had to be followed and strict infection control practices adhered to. The virus didn’t just change the way we live day to day, it affected every department and the way in which we operated.
Our healthcare staff had to ensure the spread of infection didn’t occur. This meant compulsory mask usage around the hospital, extra PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for frontline staff and social distancing for all. It also meant an increase in the usage of yellow clinical waste bags.
Thanks to Good360, we received a generous donation of yellow clinical bags to use for the removal of contaminated waste for the whole hospital. Raynelle, Manager of General Services saw an increase in the usage of clinical bags go up by approximately 15% and added the donation was fantastic and cost-saving.
