Christmas Drive 2020

Turbans 4 Australia has been doing an annual Toy drive for the last 4 years. Last Xmas we went to South Coast to support the local community organisations. T4A took a van and truck full of products from Good360, Foodbank and BigW for this activity. The drive starts from Sydney stopping first at Nowra followed by Narooma, Bega and Eden.
Our volunteers worked hard in planning this trip. The donations from BigW included a variety of household items, clothing and toys. In total, we distributed 300 pair of shoes, women and kids clothing, sanitary pads, breakfast groceries, hand sanitisers, LEGO and toys.
Salt Care was our partner in Nowra that was affected by the bushfires. Our partners in Bega and Eden were amazed by the quality and quantity of the donations. T4A volunteers and members of the local community worked together in unloading all the items from both vehicles.
It's rewarding to be able to reach out and help regional community groups, especially those affected by bushfires and a pandemic that has strangled the tourism industry.
