New linen brings smiles

People have been very grateful to receive this generous gift from Linen House and most have never experienced bedding of this quality before. I’ve been happily running my hands over the sateen cotton sheets. We sometimes buy sheets sets and pillows for our Directors at Christmas which are happily and gratefully received. But this is a new level of softness and they love the colours.

Yuendumu is a dry and dusty place and most of us find dust in our houses even if we’ve just dusted. With many people of all ages from babies to Great Grandmothers in each house. there is a lot of traffic coming and going, and it’s difficult to get the house clean each week knowing that it’s not really going to be noticed by anyone except for the woman who did the cleaning and enjoyed it for a short while. Many of the women are very good cleaners, dusting, sweeping and mopping until everything is clean.
