Siblings are affected too

Every Christmas local business host a Special Children's Christmas Party, this is a fabulous event but for 2020 and 2021 the event couldn't go ahead due to COVID-19. Instead children were provided with a gift bag from Santa, these gift bags are only for Special Children and therefore their siblings missed out.

However with epilepsy, if your brother or sister has a seizure when you are on your way to the movies, this means you cannot go to the movies anymore either. It means taking extra special care of your sibling and sometimes providing first aid. Epilepsy affects the whole family.

These 2 Christmas were made extra special as we were able to provide goodie bags for all the family. Older siblings felt loved, younger ones were super excited and it was all about everyone. No-one was left out.
