Welcome to Australia - Ласкаво просимо до Австралії

The partnership between Good360 and the Ukrainian Council of NSW began in August 2022, when Good360 contacted Andrew Mencinsky, Co-Vice President, to offer phones and SIM cards for Displaced People from Ukraine.
The call was unexpected but welcome, as the offer of free phones and in particular data, calls, and text would help Displaced People to set up their new lives as well as stay in contact with family and friends in Ukraine.
Good360 and Optus staff attended the Ukrainian Youth Centre at Lidcombe on the 3rd & 10th of September, to hand out phones and activate the SIM cards that gave recipients free national calls and text plus 50GB of data.
We were pleased to welcome the Mayor of Cumberland Ms. Lisa Lake and our local NSW MP for Auburn Ms. Lynda Voltz to the event, as well as the Honourary Consul of Ukraine in Sydney Mr. Jaroslav Duma.
Through these 3 events, we managed to distribute 239 phones and 257 SIMs. These donations will assist Displaced People to seek permanent accommodation, connect with the Immigration Department as well as other government agencies, look for employment and training opportunities, and all manner of activities required to settle into a new country.
On behalf of the Ukrainian Community of NSW, we say Дякую тобі, Dyakuyu tobi, - Thank you Good360 and Optus
