Christmas present add hope

Brisbane Recovery Service (AKA Moonyah) is a residential service for adults seeking assistance with their substance use disorder. We are the largest residential drug and alcohol service in Australia housing up to 80 participants. Each Christmas we do our best to help participants celebrate and provide them with a practical yet fun Christmas present at our annual participants' Christmas party. In 2022 these gifts were partly sourced from Good360 - we provided shaving cream, pens, mechanical pencils, and highlighters among other things in the present. These presents are a crucial part of Christmas for participants. Many are disconnected from family and friends as a result of their substance use and so the present provides hope that life can be better.
