Homeless to Home - A Very Special Celebration

After facing the impacts of COVID-19, single father Rowan* and his two young boys Cory* and Harry* became homeless when their rental property was sold by the landlord.
Rowan applied for over 160 private rentals unsuccessfully and was not able to outbid other contenders due to the massive increases in rental prices during this time. Consequently, the young family spent the following year not knowing where they were going to sleep each night - from unstable and expensive stays in campsites and motels to sleeping in a caravan on the side of a road.
Despite the impacts of COVID-19 negatively affecting all areas of their lives, including employment and financial instability, Rowan was able to keep both boys in school full-time.
Now, the family has moved into their own home and are starting to get their lives back on track. This winter, both boys will celebrate their first birthdays since escaping homelessness. The donation of LEGO was provided to Rowan so that he could surprise the boys on their respective birthdays with some very special presents.
Thank you Good360 and LEGO
