Thanks to the amazing donation from Big W, Helping Hands Mission was able to make an enormous difference to our clients in the lead-up to Mother's Day.
The Helping Hands Mission Community Pantry currently supports 150 families each day with fresh fruit, veggies, eggs, pantry items, and frozen produce. In the weeks leading up to Mother's Day, we were able to provide each of our female clients with a little extra surprise - the chance to choose a new bra/crop top and undies which we had set up on racks.
It is hard to put into words the impact that new underwear can have as it is often the first thing to go as families work to provide food and shelter during tough times. There were many tears and hugs as women worked through the racks to choose their gifts.
Being able to do something like this for our clients is only possible through our relationship with Good360 and Big W.
