A single Mum of two came to live at one of our complexes after a harrowing 7 months at a crisis accommodation motel. Living in fear for her and her young sons (her older son remained with her grandmother) her life turned around when she was offered a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit so her second son could return to the family and they could all live together. She didn't have any food, furniture, or a sim card. Her support worker encouraged her to apply for a grant to purchase brand-new furniture, our Chaplain ensured she had fresh food and we gave her a SIM Card from the Good360. She is extremely grateful for everything and for everyone helping her. She is now very happy living in her Unit which she describes as her forever home.
