Nike Clothing Donation

Volunteers from St John's Community Aid went with the intention to give stylish brand-new Nike clothes to the vulnerable members of the community through our weekly food hamper program. For people who have experienced domestic violence, homelessness, and with the cost of living increasing, purchasing clothing is not a high priority.
Many of us know how a trip to the shops for some retail therapy can lift our spirits when we are feeling a bit down. But what about those who can't afford this luxury?
When your clothing is mostly second-hand, receiving a brand new item of clothing with the tags attached is extra special. The smiles and appreciation shown by those sleeping rough or financially challenged, receiving the clothes are enormously welcomed.
What we really gave them was a boost in self-esteem! We can't show you their faces, you can imagine their reactions and they could not believe they had received Nike goods.
Thank you, thank you to Nike and Good360!
