The material aid program of Helping Hands Mission utilizes donations of second-hand furniture and whitegoods which are matched to meet specific requests. Thanks to an incredible donation from IKEA Australia, the organization has been able to provide clients with access to brand new items for the first time. This has brought smiles to the faces of many, such as Ang (the lady in the orange top), who shared that this was the first brand-new piece of furniture she had ever owned, and it was going into her son's bedroom.
Special thanks go to the corporate volunteers from Laing O'Rourke and helpers from the local Community Shed who came together to help assemble all items before distribution. Helping Hands Mission is grateful to Good360 for making all of this possible.
