A silver lining for a mum and her kids

Our 2023 Christmas hamper appeal impacted 1149 lives this year.
Cassie presented at Frank Konecny as a result of escaping domestic violence and financial hardship. Cassie is a single mother of 3 children, having to relocate into a rental property with her three children. Cassie discussed the challenges she has been facing as a result including transitioning from a two-income household to a one-income household. Cassie's sole source of income is Centrelink benefits and stated she did not have enough money available to purchase Christmas gifts and school supplies for her three children. The Frank Konecny Community Centre provided Cassie with LEGO as Christmas gifts for her children and new backpacks with school supplies that came from Good360 as well as food and clothing support. Cassie said these gifts were the silver lining of her year and were incredibly thankful for the support from the centre and all the people who have been kind for she is not used to others helping just because.
We wish to acknowledge the generosity of Good360 and its donor partners. Thank you
