The children's storybooks allow disadvantaged children experiencing homelessness and financial hardship to have access to learning resources essential for their development. These books would not be accessible for families struggling to afford essential items such as food. Providing reading books to families experiencing socio-economic disadvantage eliminates barriers that negatively impact their development. The books were given out during playgroup after Angelique read Possum Magic. Families and children expressed their excitement in being able to take home some of the books, to read with their children.
